It will be determined the preventive measures on iron deficiency anemia practiced by mothers of children from 6 months to 2 years at the “Brisas de Pachacamac” health post, Villa el Salvador-2020. Materials and methods. The present research will have a quantitative approach, in terms of the methodological design it is a cross-sectional correlational research. The population will consist of 1,039 mothers from families that have children between 6 months and 2 years of age. The participating families were selected according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria set out in the research. That the mothers have children whose ages fluctuate. between 6 months and 2 years of age and who have agreed to participate in this study. Mothers who have children older than the range established in this research work and who do not wish to participate will be excluded. The informants in the present study will be mothers. The technique that will be applied in this work will be the survey, through a questionnaire. From this perspective, the instrument chosen to collect the information will be the questionnaire called “Preventive measures on iron deficiency anemia practiced by mothers of children from 6 months to 2 years old at the Brisas de Pachacámac Health Post, Villa El Salvador - 2020 ”, adapted by the author of this research work. This questionnaire is made up of 24 closed questions and is divided into three dimensions. The first, with 9 questions, is oriented to the hygiene practices dimension; The second, with 10 questions, refers to the dietary practices dimension and the third, with 5 questions, focuses on the anemia control dimension. The rating considers 1 to 5 points for each question. The reliability of the instrument has been worked on based on the application of a pilot test with 20 mothers of children between 6 months and 2 years from the aforementioned unit of analysis of this study. , obtaining a result of > 0.72 in the Cronbach's Alpha reliability test.
