Ítem Acceso abierto Lifestyle and therapeutic adherence in hypertensive patients at the José Leonardo Ortiz Health Center, Chiclayo 2022.(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-05-12) Gavidia Pérez, Rossana; Fernández Rengifo, Werther FernandoObjective: To determine how lifestyle is related to therapeutic adherence in hypertensive patients at the José Leonardo Ortiz Health Center, Chiclayo 2022. Methodology: The research is applied, with a quantitative, observational, correlational and cross-sectional approach. The census sample was 109 patients who attend the arterial hypertension (ENT) program at the José Leonardo Ortiz Health Center. The technique was the survey using the PEPS-I lifestyle questionnaire by Nola Pender and the MBG (Martín-Bayarre-Grau) for the evaluation of therapeutic adherence. Spearman's Rho was used for the hypothesis test. Results: 47.7% presented a regular lifestyle level. Regarding the dimensions, it was seen that physical activity was regular with 43.1%, as well as nutrition with 41.3%. interpersonal relationships with 53.2%, stress management with 48.6% and finally in health responsibility with 40.4%. In 45.9% they presented a regular level of therapeutic adherence. Regarding the dimensions, it was observed that therapeutic compliance was regular with 48.6%, as well as in personal involvement with 48.6%, and the transactional relationship with 50.5%. Conclusions: There is a statistically significant relationship between lifestyle and therapeutic adherence of hypertensive patients, according to the Spearman correlation of 0.832, representing this result as moderate with a statistical significance of p = 0.000 being less than 0.01.
