Ítem Acceso abierto Effectiveness of palliative care on the quality of life of oncology patients(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2019-08-04) Gavino Castro, Claudia Vanessa; Peralta Mendivil, Jennifer Gilda; Gamarra Bustillos, CarlosObjective: Determine the effectiveness of palliative care in cancer patients. Material and Methods: Observational and retrospective systematic review, the search has been restricted to articles with full text, and the selected articles were subjected to a critical reading, using Jover's evaluation to identify their degree of evidence. Results: In the final selection, They chose 10 articles from the following countries: Singapore, United States, England, Canada, China, France, which were 3 systematic reviews, 2 experimental, 1 quasi-experimental, 1 pre-experimental and 2 cohort; where it was established that the 10 articles are equivalent to 100% (n = 10/10) where the effectiveness of palliative care in oncological patients was determined. Conclusion: It was evidenced in the research reviewed that there is effectiveness of palliative care in cancer patients in improving care, verifying that it significantly reduces the burden of symptoms and improves the quality of care at the end of their life.Ítem Acceso abierto Engagement and quality of care of the nursing graduates of the Oncosalud Clinic, in Lima, 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-11-19) Gavino Castro, Claudia Vanessa; Pretell Aguilar, Rosa MaríaObjective: "Identify the relationship that exists between the engagement and the quality of care of nursing graduates." The population is made up of 150 nursing graduates who work in the hospitalization service of the Oncosalud Clinic. The sample will be 56 nursing graduates who work at the Oncosalud Clinic. Methodological design: the type of research will be applied, the design will be observational, correlational, descriptive and cross-sectional. Instruments: to measure the "engagement" variable, the questionnaire designed by Salanova, M., Schaufeli, W., Llorens, S., Peiró, J. & Grau, R. in 1999 "UWES UTRECH" will be used, which it has a reliability of 0.9 through Crombach's Alpha and to measure the variable "quality of care" the questionnaire designed by Valarezo Veliz Evelyn will be used, in the year 2022, and has a reliability of 0.8 through Crombach's Alpha. The data collection technique will be the survey. Statistical processing and data analysis: Once the information is collected, it will be processed and analyzed through statistical analysis.
