The instrument used was a data collection form based on 36 alerts, which was validated through expert judgment in the area of public health. The results were 801 counterfeit pharmaceutical products. The percentage per year was 22.5% in 2018, 25.6% in 2019, 5.2% in 2020, 19.5% in 2021 and 27.2% in 2022. Regarding the ATC classification (Anatomical Therapeutic Chemical Code), the Nervous System led with 32.1%, in the pharmaceutical form classification the tablet led with 51.7%, in The classification of pharmaceutical product names was predominantly commercial, accounting for 98.9% of seizures. The most common location of seizure was Cercado de Lima, with 90.4%. Finally, regarding establishment types, unauthorized establishments were most prevalent, with the Unicachi shopping center accounting for 35.7%, while authorized establishments were pharmacies, with 2.9%. It was concluded that counterfeiting increased between 2019 and 2022, but decreased in 2020.
