Materials and methods: The research will have a quantitative approach and will use observation as a technique; The type of research is transactional and the design is descriptive, in order to explain in detail the behavior of the variable in its spontaneous state. When using the descriptive design, it is expected that its obvious limitations are that it does not express cause-effect relationships, nor does it generate new theory. The unit of analysis is the post-abdominal surgery patients at the San José de Chincha hospital. The population that was determined in a six-month care period reached a total of 600 patients, who, through probabilistic sampling, were determined as a sample of 124 patients, subject to the regulatory exclusion and inclusion criteria and consent. informed, the MCGILL pain scale instrument will be used, with which the variables and indicators will be measured

Quality of nursing care for the newborn and the satisfaction of the mothers of the neonatology service of the Hospital San José, Chincha 2023

Introduction: health institutions have the challenge of providing quality care, being the nurse the one who provides care, these must be safe and specialized, as in the case of neonates due to their high morbidity and mortality, care is based on scientific knowledge that allows to identify the needs in a holistic approach and to satisfy the health needs that can be perceived by the mothers or other relatives. Objective: to relate the quality of the nursing care of the newborn and the satisfaction of the mothers of the Neonatology service of the San José hospital, Chincha 2023. Methodology: a hypothetical deductive, descriptive, cross-correlational method will be used, with the participation of 90 mothers from the neonatology service. The technique used is the survey, the instruments are valid and reliable, the CARE Q questionnaire will be applied to measure quality of care and another questionnaire to evaluate mothers' satisfaction. The data processing is carried out through descriptive and inferential statistical analysis applying the SPSS 25.0 program for the correlation we will apply the Spearman test. The results are presented in tables and graphs.
