Ítem Acceso abierto Effectiveness of the use of a ventricular assist device as a replacement for cardiac function in terminally ill patients(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2019-11-24) Espinoza Mayo, Paola Elisa; Gonzales Claudio, Guisella; Uturunco Vera, Milagros LizbethObjective: Systematize the evidence on the effectiveness of the use of the ventricular assist device as a replacement for cardiac function in terminally ill patients. Materials and Methods: The design was observational, retrospective, a systematic bibliographic search was carried out in the Virtual Health Library, Scielo, Pub Med, Medline, Cochrane Plus. 10 articles were identified, of which 50% (5) correspond to the United States. , 30% (3) corresponds to Germany, 10% (1) corresponds to Australia and 10% (1) corresponds to the United Kingdom with no more than ten years of experience, the search has been limited to complete scientific texts, which were subjected to a critical interpretation, for this purpose the Grade system is used to indicate the recommendation value. Results: 60% (6) reviewed articles show that the ventricular assist device as a replacement for cardiac function in adults is effective and 40% (4) of the reviewed articles show that there are no favorable data in relation to the assist device ventricular assist device as a replacement for cardiac function in intensive care patients, since future studies still need to be carried out Conclusions: It is evident that the articles reviewed demonstrate the effectiveness of the ventricular assist device as a replacement for cardiac function, improving quality of life and prolongation of its existence.Ítem Acceso abierto Resilience and perception of landslide risk in the former cooperative Los Gallinazos in the district of Puente Piedra, Lima-2018.(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2018-07-09) Gonzales Claudio, Guisella; Perez Siguas, Rosa EvaObjective: To determine the relationship between resilience level and landslide risk perception in the former Los Gallinazos Cooperative in the Puente Piedra district of Lima in 2018. Method: Quantitative, correlational, and cross-sectional approach, with a population of 270 heads of households. The data collection technique was a survey of heads of households. The instruments used were the Resilience Scale-25SA (CD-RISC-25SA) and the Landslide Risk Perception Scale (EPRD). Results: 97.4% had a high level of resilience, 2.6% had a medium level; within the dimensions, persistence-tenacity-self-efficacy was highlighted at 97%. Regarding landslide risk, 88.5% had a high landslide risk perception, 9.6% had a medium level, and 1.9% had a low level. The dimensions that stood out were the probability of damage at 99.6%, indicating an excellent perception of landslide risk, followed by estimated loss at 81.9%. Conclusions: No relationship exists between resilience and landslide risk perception in the former Los Gallinazos Cooperative in the Puente Piedra district. The Spearman Bivariate correlation test shows a correlation coefficient of 0.083, indicating a directly proportional but irrelevant relationship with a margin of error of 0.05 (5%).
