The world health organization mentions that a healthy work means working together to achieve the well-being of patients in the same joint vision in the environment where these activities are carried out. In developing countries there is no investment in the health field and even more so in the safety of workers, putting their lives at risk. More support is needed from the government to improve services and the safety of health personnel. Nursing is essential in the surgical center area since it has to be in good general condition to provide quality care to patients. According to the Nurse's Labor Law No. 27669, chapter III, of rights and obligations, the College of Nurses of Peru tells us that we must enjoy a healthy and safe work environment, that is, the balance of physical and mental health. and spiritual as well as ensuring personal integrity. It is logical to deduce that, if health personnel do not have guaranteed safety when carrying out their nursing activities, the health risks against the professional could be harmful, unfortunately the following undesired consequences will occur: adverse effects on the professional such as burns, chemical injuries or pharyngeal irritation, etc.
