Quality of care of the nursing professional and patient satisfaction of the post-anesthesia recovery unit in a hospital in Huacho, 2023

The quality of care offered to users in the Post-anesthesia Recovery Unit is of utmost relevance for an adequate recovery of the surgical patient, of which the specialized nursing expert in the operation center; The perception that patients have about care in this area is important. Whose objective is: Determine the relationship between quality of care of the nursing professional and patient satisfaction of the post-anesthetic recovery unit in a Hospital in Huacho, 2023. Therefore, the methodology is quantitative, applied type, hypothetical deductivo method, nonexperimental, correlational and transversal design. The studied population was 80 patients from the post-anesthetic recovery room. This study was carried out through the survey and the instrument used was the questionnaire; modified and adapted by Curas Miranda (2019), obtaining a Spielberd reliability of 64.3% in the quality-of-care variable, and for the patient satisfaction variable, an instrument modified by Laurente Coronado et al (2018) was used, which had a reliability 62.8% Rho Spearman; follow ethical and moral considerations. The analyzes of previously coded data will be imported into the IBM SPSS STATISTICS Version 27 statistical program, the results are qualitatively presented in tables. Likewise, both variables can be related according to the Pearson test, which calculates the process of these two variables based on evidence, with a statistical probability less than or equal to 5% (p≤0.05).
