The research approach was quantitative of type applied with a cross-sectional non-experimental design of a descriptive and correlational type. The population and sample consisted of 68 nursing professionals from a Private Clinic in Lima, to whom a survey was applied as a data collection technique through the questionnaire instrument.Ítem Acceso abierto Resilience capacity in the nursing staff working in the emergency department of a hospital in Lima - 2020(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2020-08-18) Guerrero Moreno, Liliana Santa; Gonzales Saldaña, Susan HaydeeObjective The method; “Determine the level of resilience of the nursing staff who work in the emergency service of a Hospital in Lima.” It had a quantitative research approach, the non-experimental descriptive study design, population and sample was made up of 40 "nursing personnel from the Emergency Service of the Hospital of a Hospital in Lima", including appointed, contracted and third parties. The data collection technique was used in the survey, the instrument was “the Wagnild and Young Resilience Scale”, coupled to the Peruvian language by Novella (2002, the results; The results found referred to the resilience capacity on 87, 5% showed a high level of resilience, 10% showed moderate resilience and 2.5% showed low resilience. It was concluded that “the resilience capacity of the nursing staff who works in the hospital. emergency service of a Hospital in Lima 2020, is high.”
