    Interacciones medicamentosas potenciales en prescripciones de psicotrópicos dispensados en la botica Super Boticas Hollywood, Lurín 2 enero 2020 a octubre 2021

    The objective was to determine the potential drug-drug interactions (PDDIs) in psychotropic prescriptions dispensed at the Hollywood Super Drugstore in Lurín 2 from January 2020 to October 2021. Methodology: The method was deductive, with a descriptive, cross-sectional level, a quantitative approach, a basic type, and a non-experimental design. The population consisted of 700 medical prescriptions, and the sample was 249 prescriptions. The technique used was documentary collection, and the instrument was a data collection form. Results: By type of interaction, pharmacodynamic interactions accounted for 61.7% (409 interactions). By severity, moderate interactions had the highest percentage with 81.4% (540 interactions). In terms of frequency, 1 to 5 interactions per prescription accounted for 92.8% (231 prescriptions). The most prescribed therapeutic group was affective disorders (55.7% or n=330 prescriptions). The most prescribed medication was sodium valproate (29.7% or 176 prescriptions). Conclusion: Potential drug interactions were determined to be predominantly pharmacodynamic (n=409). Furthermore, the highest percentage of severity was moderate (n=540). The frequency of 1 to 5 interactions (n=231), the prevalence of prescriptions for affective disorders (n=330), and the most prescribed medication, sodium valproate (n=176), were also confirmed.
