Sometimes it is not practiced since it is interrupted by social and cultural factors such as beliefs, customs that mothers have, affecting infant feeding. Objective: Determine the relationship that exists between sociocultural factors and the knowledge of breastfeeding in mothers of children. minors 2 years. Material and Methods: the research focus will be quantitative, applied research type, with a non-experimental cross-sectional correlational design. The study population will be 135 mothers who are treated at the David Tejada de Rivero health post and the sample will be 100 mothers. For data collection, the survey will be used as a technique and as an instrument with the variables Sociocultural factors of 15 items and 14 items for the variable knowledge of breastfeeding Results: descriptive statistics will be applied, which will serve to show the results, therefore will use frequency tables which will interpret the results.
