Publicación Acceso abierto Manejo farmacológico con relación al reflujo gastroesofágico en pacientes adultos de la Clínica Divino Niño Jesús - San Juan de Miraflores, 2024(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2025-02-04) Barrios Tello, Keyla Tatiana; Guevara Ruiz, Neila; Ñañez del Pino, DanielThe objective was to analyze the relationship between pharmacological management and gastroesophageal reflux in adult patients at the Clinica Divino Niño Jesus in San Juan de Miraflores, 2024. Method. The study had a quantitative approach, basic type, correlational level, non-experimental design, hypothetical deductive method, cross-sectional, sample of 152 adults, data were collected through surveys using a questionnaire, the hypothesis was contrasted with Spearman's Rho test. Results. Of 152 surveys, 48.7% were between 25-40 years old and 48% between 51-60 years old; in use of gastric cytoprotective and antacids drugs; 52% used antacids; 19.7% magaldrate; 40.1% sodium bicarbonate; 28.3% sucralfate and 46.1% bismuth; in terms of the use of gastric antisecretory on prokinetic drugs; 43.4% used omeprazole; 27.6% esomeprazole; 36.2% pantoprazole; 34.9% ranitidine; 34.9% metoclopramide; about the symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux; 39.5% had heartburn; 21.1% acid regurgitation; 38.8% epigastric pain; regarding unhealthy diet; 55.9% ate excess food; 40.1% ate hot foods and 37.5% ate a high-fat diet; regarding unhealthy habits; 37.5% used tobacco; 38.8% drank alcohol and 55.9% went to bed immediately after eating. There was a moderate and significant correlation between pharmacological management and gastroesophageal reflux (p<0.05). Conclusion. Pharmacological management is significantly related to gastroesophageal reflux in adult patients at the Divino Niño Jesús Clinic.
