    Estrés laboral y su relación con el rendimiento profesional en el personal de salud de centro quirúrgico en un hospital de Lima 2023

    Objective: The purpose of this research was to analyze the relationship between work related stress and professional performance among healthcare workers working in Surgical Centers. Materials and methods: This was an applied, non-experimental, correlational, and cross-sectional study, using the hypothetical-deductive method. The sample consisted of 120 healthcare professionals, and two structured questionnaires were used as data collection instruments. Results: The level of work stress among healthcare personnel in the Surgical Center was medium, both in relation to work stress and professional performance (40.0%). The correlation Spearman coefficient, it obtained a value of (-, 636), with a significance of 0.000 (p < 0.05). Conclusion: there is a medium, significant and inversely proportional correlation between the variables studied. High levels of Work Stress are associated with low levels of Professional Performance. Therefore, it is important to continue with larger studies in larger samples.
