Ítem Acceso abierto Level of knowledge and practices of biosafety measures for nurses in the emergency service of the Alberto Sabogal Sologuren hospital, Callao-2022.(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-07-31) Hernández Aparcana, Marianella Katherine; Suarez Valderrama, Yurik AnatoliObjective: To determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and the practices of biosafety measures of nurses in the emergency service of the Alberto Sabogal Sologuren Hospital, Callao 2022. Material and method: This research will be applied with a quantitative approach, and an observational, descriptive, correlational cross-sectional design. The population will be made up of all nursing professionals who work in the Emergency area of the Alberto Sabogal Sologuren National Hospital. The technique to be used will be the observation guide through a checklist and the survey. The instrument to measure the level of knowledge and use of biosafety measures validated by Lic. Villanueva Paravicino Karin in Peru and modified by the authors Maritza Noelia Barrios Sánchez and Nancy Sabina Miranda Granados in 2017, for the reliability of the instrument was measured with the Richard Kunderson reliability coefficient, achieving a value of 0.78 obtaining a moderate level of reliability. To measure biosafety practices, a checklist validated by Barrios Maritza and Miranda Nancy in Peru in 2017 will be used. The Kuder-Richarson-20 reliability coefficient was measured, reaching a general value of 0.87, resulting in a moderate level of reliability.
