    The objective of this research was to determine the relationship between digital competencies and the research skills of nursing students at a private university in Lima, 2023. The methodology: This research will be carried out under the hypothetical deductive method, the The approach adopted in this research was quantitative, the type of study was applied, non-experimental, cross-sectional and correlational design, the research technique was the survey and the instrument was the questionnaire. On the other hand, the sample was made up of 108 nursing students. The results: a significant correlation is evident since P=0<0.004 and this is less than 0.05, in the same way, the level of correlation is .276 for digital competencies and investigative skills. Conclusion: It is stated that there is a significant relationship between digital skills and research skills of nursing students at a private university in Lima, 2023. Likewise, the positive relationship between digital skills and research skills suggests that as As digital skills increase, so do the research skills of nursing students at a private university in Lima, 2023.
