Regarding the methodology, the study is applied, with a non-experimental cross-sectional design, in addition to this it presents a quantitative approach, the population in this case will be, 100 nursing staff (80 nurses and 20 nursing technicians), who work in the Surgical Center service, in the collection of data the survey technique is used and as instruments two questionnaires of high reliability and validated will be used, which will allow to collect the necessary information for the study, which will be classified and coded in a database using the Excel program, and then be analyzed by the SPSS 25.0 program, this action being that provides the results in tables and figures to be able to express them both descriptively and inferentially through the Spearman's Rho test to check the study hypotheses and provide the conclusions of the same.Ítem Acceso abierto Prevalence of overweight and obesity in children from 6 to 9 of the I.E Javier Prado La Victoria Lima 2019(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2020-11-08) Hernandez Escate, Monica Yanett; Gonzales Saldaña, Susan HaydeeObjective: Determine the prevalence of overweight and obesity in children aged 6 to 9 at the I.E Javier Prado 2019. Method: This study has a quantitative focus, with a descriptive cross-sectional methodological design. The population consisted of 107 children aged 6 to 9 from first to third grade. The children who participated were selected according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Results: In the population of children aged 6 to 9 with overweight and obesity at the educational center, of the 107 children (100%), 36 students (33.6%) had overweight and obesity, and 71 students (66.4%) did not. Conclusions: The overweight and obesity rate among the students was low, with more children not having overweight or obesity at I.E N°1107 Javier Prado.
