    Relationship between work overload and psychological well-being in emergency nurses in a hospital in Lima - 2023

    Introduction: The role of nurses in healthcare is paramount and they often encounter significant obstacles in their workplace. Addressing and understanding the work overload and emotional stability of these individuals can have a favorable effect on their overall health, professional performance, and the quality of care they provide to patients. Objective: To determine how work overload is related to psychological well-being in emergency nurses. Method: A descriptive correlational study will be carried out with a census sample of 86 emergency nurses, the data collection technique will be a survey and a questionnaire will be used as an instrument validated by expert judgment. The questionnaire to measure the level of work overload has demonstrated validity and a reliability KR-20=0.83; likewise, the level of psychological well-being will be measured with a validity and reliability KR-20=0.86. If this assumption is met, parametric statistics (Pearson statistics) will be used. Otherwise, nonparametric statistics (Spearman's rho) will be used. For the descriptive analysis of data, frequency distribution tables will be used, using SPSS software.
