    Eating habits and nutritional status of the older adult cared for in a hospital in Cajamarca, 2021

    Nutrition in older people contains particularities and must follow a pattern of dietary regimens, since with aging changes occur, such as the loss of teeth, impairment of motor, secretory and nutrient absorption functions, altering digestion. , a balanced diet with a reduction in carbohydrates and an increase in proteins and minerals is essential to have a normal nutritional status. The objective of the study is "Analyze the relationship between eating habits and the nutritional status of the elderly treated in a Hospital in Cajamarca, 2021." The research methodology is quantitative, descriptive-correlational. The population will consist of 120 older adults from a hospital in Cajamarca. A validated questionnaire of 31 questions will be used to identify eating habits, and to determine nutrition, a nutritional status record will be used.
