The COVID-19 pandemic has led to an excessive consumption of medications from various pharmacological groups in the general population, which is attributed to the global health emergency. The objective of this thesis was to determine the most dispensed medications before and during the COVID-19 pandemic at the BOTICA ECONOBOTICA from May 2018 to October 2021. Methodology: The study methodology was observational and descriptive. A total of 79,416 medications dispensed by unit before and during the pandemic were evaluated, and six pharmacological groups were analyzed. Results: The analysis showed the corresponding results for each pharmacological group and their increase in dispensing before and during the pandemic. The most dispensed pharmacological groups were: Antibiotics (Before: 3,170 or 4%; During: 22,799 or 29%; dispensing increased by 619%); Analgesics (Before: 4,856 or 6%; During: 15,955 or 20%; dispensing increased by 229%); Corticosteroids (Before: 1,656 or 2%; During: 10,388 or 13%; dispensing increased by 527%); Anti-inflammatories (NSAIDs) (Before: 4,644 or 6.9%; During: 6,017 or 8%; dispensing increased by 30%); Antiparasitics (Before: 150 or 0.02%; During: 3,418 or 4%; dispensing increased by 2179%); and Anxiolytics (Before: 2,979 or 3%; During: 3,384 or 4%; dispensing increased by 14%). There was a high increase in dispensing in these two different periods, before and during the pandemic, due to the fear and uncertainty generated by the pandemic. Conclusion: The dispensing and increase of the six pharmacological groups before and during the pandemic were determined, and this research concludes that there was an elevated dispensing of medications during the pandemic compared to the period before the pandemic, when dispensing was lower.

Gestión para el desarrollo de habilidades y motivación laboral en el personal del Centro de Salud Tahuantinsuyo Alto, 2023
(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2025-12-07) Herrera Quispe, Techy; Maguiña Palma, Misael Erikson
Objective: To evaluate the association between skills development management and work motivation among members of the medical center. Materials and methods: The variables to be measured are “management for skills development” and “work motivation.” Through a basic, non experimental, cross-sectional study, using a quantitative approach with a correlational scope, 80 workers were evaluated using a previously validated questionnaire. Descriptive data were determined and the normality value was calculated, after which Spearman's Rho coefficient was used for hypothesis testing in the context of inferential statistics. Results: A coefficient of 0.909 was achieved in the analysis with Spearman's Rho, suggesting a very strong positive relationship between skill development management and work motivation. Conclusion: As skill development management improves, so does the work motivation of medical center staff, and vice versa.
