The present secondary research titled as a critical review: “Nutritional Screening Tools for the Early Detection of Nutritional Risk in Hospitalized Adults” aimed to determine the appropriate nutritional screening tool for the early detection of nutritional risk in hospitalized adult patients. The clinical question was: What nutritional screening tool will be appropriate to use in the early detection of nutritional risk in hospitalized adults? The Evidence-Based Nutrition (NuBE) methodology was used. The information search was carried out in PUBMED, SCIELO, LILACS, SCIENCE DIINET, finding 46 articles, being selected 31 that have been evaluated by the CASPE critical reading tool, finally selecting the systematic review, titled as: “Review of different tools of Nutritional screening for hospitalized patients. Which has a level of evidence I and Grade of Recommendation I, according to the researcher's experience. The critical comment allowed us to conclude that there are different screening tools that will be used depending on their hospital context; In the case of most health institutions in Peru, the most used tool is the VGS.Ítem Acceso abierto Nutritional status of patients diagnosed with gallstones in the surgery service of the low complexity hospital in Lima Este, Vitarte. April 2018 April 2019.(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-11-22) Gálvez Sánchez, Fernando Daniel; Hidalgo Chávez, Mariana ElviraThe objective of this work has been to know the nutritional status of patients with a diagnosis of Vesicular Lithiasis, confined in the general surgery service of the low complexity hospital of Lima Este, Vitarte in the period April 2018 - April 2019. 1,393 histories were reviewed. clinics corresponding to the patients who entered the aforementioned service, with 385 people diagnosed with Gallstones; according to the stated objectives, which are of first order; to know the number of patients diagnosed with obesity and overweight who undergo surgery for gallstones and the prevalence between men and women. A descriptive cross-sectional, retrospective study was carried out and once the analysis of the results of the clinical records was carried out, the following conclusions were reached: Gallbladder Lithiasis remained with a higher prevalence in the female sex with a total of 320 patients, represented in 83% of the sample, compared to 17% of the male sex (65 people). It was determined that 67% of the sample were adults (259 people), followed by a young adult population represented in a 20%, that is, 75 patients. Finally, obesity and overweight was a common determinant in the majority of the patients in the study (44%), representing a total of 168 people.
