    This project is of an applied type, an explanatory method, and has also presented a nonexperimental design with a cross section, for which the objective has been determined to determine if the perception of care affects the attitude of the nurse in patients with respiratory failure. acute, from the emergency service of the Hipolito Unanue national hospital, the data was collected through the method of patient surveys, as a technique questionnaires were carried out on the perception of care and its effect on the attitude of the nurse, the procedure for obtaining The information was processed using the SPSSV25 software, information analysis was used for the chi2 test, a population of 150 patients was obtained who attended the emergency area of the medical center was obtained, it has been possible to conclude that the way of perceiving care is at optimal levels, of which It was obtained that the relationship of perception of care with the attitude of the nurse is a good level of perception with 60.00%, likewise it was possible to observe that there was a regular level of perception and attitude with 20.7% and finally 3.3% of low level, while in the dimensions such as prioritizing being a person and qualities of nursing, it obtained a good level of 45.3%, likewise in the dimension characteristics of the nurse and empathy it was a good level of 34%, on the other hand in the dimension emotional support and support physical was a regular level of 37.3% and finally in the dimensions proactivity, availability and feelings of the patient it was a good level with 36%, which is why they presented similar levels that led to deduce that they usually have a positive impact in patient care, so the hypothesis was accepted and a P value less than 0.05 was obtained, where there is acceptance of the hypothesis in the effect between both variables.
