    Knowledge and practices in the sterilization process of the personnel of the central sterilization unit of the Honorio Delgado Regional Hospital - Arequipa - 2021

    Determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and practices in the sterilization process of the staff of the sterilization center of the Honorio Delgado Regional Hospital of Arequipa, 2021. Methodology: Quantitative approach study, cross-sectional, correlational design. The population will be the entire staff that works in the sterilization center, made up of 20 people selected according to inclusion and exclusion criteria set out in the research, no sample size was calculated. Data collection techniques and instruments: The survey technique will be used for variable 1, which is knowledge about the sterilization process, for variable 2 observation will be used, which is practices in the sterilization process; The instrument for variable 1 will be the questionnaire and for variable 2, a checklist. Procedures: Data collection will take place in 3 months. Once the information has been collected by applying the instrument, the data will be entered into a database in the SPSS Version 27.0 program. Statistical Analysis: For the descriptive analysis, frequency tables and graphic representations will be used; To test the hypothesis, the Chi square test will be used, accepting values ​​p<0.05 as significant.
