Publicación Acceso abierto Nivel de aceptación de medicamentos genéricos durante la pandemia de COVID-19 en usuarios que acuden a la farmacia San Rafaelito-distrito de San Miguel 2022(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-05-23) Taboada Pasache, Luis Kevin; Huallanca Velasquez, Janet Mirtha; Ramos Jaco, Antonio GuillermoThe present research aimed to determine the level of acceptance of generic medicines during the COVID-19 pandemic among users attending the San Rafaelito Pharmacy in the San Miguel district. Methodology: The research is basic, descriptive-level, non-experimental, and cross-sectional, with a sample of 384 users. A questionnaire was used as the instrument, and a survey was the technique employed. Statistical analysis was conducted using SPSS version 25.0. Results: Among the 384 surveyed users, 51.6% were female, 79.7% were aged between 30–59 years, and 42.7% had higher education. Regarding the acceptance of generic medicines, 50.3% presented a medium level; similarly, for the information dimension, 47.7% showed a medium level; for the access dimension, 53.1% showed a medium level; for the consumption dimension, 52.3% showed a medium level; and for the safety dimension, 44.5% showed a low level. Conclusion: A medium level of acceptance of generic medicines during the pandemic was determined, attributed to the users’ limited information about these medicines and their lack of confidence in their therapeutic effect.
