    Self-care and quality of life in patients with hemodialysis treatment in a private clinic, Lima-2024

    The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between self-care and quality of life in patients undergoing hemodialysis treatment from a private clinic, Lima – 2024. The applied type study carried out under the hypothetical-deductive method, following the quantitative approach, with a non-experimental cross-sectional design and a descriptive-correlational level, has a sample of 80 patients who undergo hemodialysis during the three shifts of the private clinic. The survey technique was chosen to measure the variables under study and the questionnaire was chosen as an instrument, so a questionnaire was used to measure the selfcare variable and the quality-of-Life Questionnaire was used to measure quality of life. After data collection through the questionnaires, they will be transferred to a database using Microsoft Excel software, after which, with the help of IBM SPSS software, the data will be filtered and processed to evaluate it through descriptive statistics and differential statistics using Spearman's non-parametric Rho test for non-parametric data or Pearson's R test for parametric data.
