    Applied research, non-experimental, cross-sectional and correlational design. In sum, a study with a quantitative approach, whose general objective is to analyze the level of relationship between emotional intelligence and self-regulated learning in language and literature students of a public university of Ica in 2023. The study population was 100 students belonging to the first to third academic cycle of the academic school in question, thus a sample of 80 students chosen by non-probabilistic convenience sampling. The instruments were the Trait Meta-Mood Scale questionnaire (TMM-24) and the Inventory of Self-Regulation of Learning Processes (IPAA). It was concluded that there is a significant relationship between emotional intelligence and selfregulated learning in language and literature students at a public university in Ica, 2023.
