Ítem Acceso abierto Level of satisfaction with nursing care and adherence to well-child check-ups in children under five years old at the Mariscal Castilla Health Center(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2018-08-14) Huamán Manayalle, Dany Milagros; Moreno Toribio, Lucero Rosario; Pérez Siguas, Rosa EvaObjective: Establish the relationship that exists between the level of satisfaction with nursing care and compliance with the well-child control in children under five years of age at the Mariscal Castilla health center. Material and method: This study has a quantitative approach, correlational design and cross-sectional design. The sample was 148 mothers. The instruments were: the Baker questionnaire to measure the level of satisfaction and the card, as well as the clinical history to evaluate compliance with the well-child checkup. Results: 148 mothers participated, mostly of age between 25 and 35 years 69.6%, secondary education level 68.9% and marital status 73.6%. Regarding satisfaction with nursing care, the highest percentage was at a medium level 86.5% and compliance with the well-child checkup was partial 86.5%. The chi square statistical test had a p-value of 0.199, indicating that there was no relationship between both variables. Conclusion: There is no relationship between the level of satisfaction with nursing care and compliance with the well-child checkup in children under five years of age at the Mariscal Castilla health center, but there is a high percentage of non-compliance with the well-child checkup.
