    According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the COVID-19 pandemic has been declared a global emergency, with muscle pain being one of the most common symptomatic consequences of COVID-19, interfering with functional capacity and quality of life. According to the WHO, lumbar pain is the leading cause of disability and long-term reduced quality of life, constituting one of the most important public health disorders. Evidence confirms that manual therapy induces an immediate analgesic effect through neurophysiological mechanisms, followed by active exercises, significantly reducing functional disability and pain intensity. The aim of this study is "To determine the effectiveness of manual techniques in lumbar pain and quality of life in patients participating in a post-COVID exercise program with lumbar pain at the Jaén Hospital."
