Publicación Acceso abierto Nivel de conocimiento sobre las medidas preventivas de COVID-19 en pobladores del distrito de Querocotillo – Cutervo, Cajamarca 2021(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2021-11-30) Huamaní Miranda, Mónica Lorena; Ramos Jaco, Antonio GuillermoThe objective of this study was to determine the level of knowledge of preventive measures against COVID-19 among residents of the Querocotillo – Cutervo District in Cajamarca in 2021. The methodology used was an observational, analytical, cross-sectional, and prospective design. The population was divided into age groups: 18 to 24 years, 25 to 39 years, and 40 to 59 years, of both male and female genders. The sample consisted of 362 passersby. Results showed that 79% (286) of the residents had a high level of knowledge of preventive measures against COVID-19, 17.7% (64) had a medium level, and the remaining 3.3% (12) had a low level of knowledge. In conclusion, the level of knowledge about COVID-19 prevention measures among the residents is mostly high. However, more information on preventive measures must be promoted to avoid the spread of COVID-19 and its variants.
