Ítem Acceso abierto Musculoskeletal disorders and ergonomic risk in truck drivers of the transport company Queella S.R.L., Ayacucho 2021(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-11-17) Huamancusi Quispe, Sheyka; Arrieta Córdova, Andy FreudA study conducted at the transport company “Queella” S.R.L. Ayacucho aimed to determine the relationship between musculoskeletal disorders and ergonomic risk in drivers of smaller vehicles. The study population consisted of 80 drivers of smaller vehicles (mototaxis). Information was collected using a form that included: driver details (gender, age, years of experience, days/week, hours/day) and applying the Nordic Kuorinka questionnaire and the REBA method. Descriptive analysis was performed using IBM SPSS Statistics V.29. The study was descriptive-observational, prospective, correlational, and cross-sectional without intervention. The study sample consisted of 13.75% women and 86.25% men, with an average age of 39.59 years. 66.3% worked between 11 and 12 hours daily. The prevalence of musculoskeletal disorders was 93.75%, with the highest percentage in the lumbar spine (69.33%), followed by the neck (14.67%), thoracic spine (13.33%), shoulder (10.67%), and hips (8%). The frequency of ergonomic risk in drivers showed high risk (61.3%), medium risk (35%), low risk (2.5%), and insignificant risk (1.3%). The study concluded that there is a correlation (p = < 0.001) between musculoskeletal disorders and ergonomic risk in smaller vehicle drivers (mototaxis).
