Ítem Acceso abierto Factors that influence treatment abandonment in patients with arterial hypertension(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 1905-07-09) Huamani Caquiamarca, Ruth Elizabeth; Flores Ccatamayo, Judith Rina; Bonilla Asalde, César AntonioMaterials and Methods: Systematic review of 10 articles, finding that 40% (04) correspond to Canada, 40% (04) correspond to Brazil, 10% (01) correspond to Spain, and finally with 10% (01) to USA. Most of them have been Systemic reviews type studies, with 50%, mainly in the countries of Canada and Brazil, and with 30% we have case control, cohort and analytical studies belonging to Spain, the United States and Brazil analyzed according to the Grade system, with a maximum age of 5 years. Results: Of the total number of articles reviewed, it was identified that 40% (4/10) reported that the factor that influences abandonment of treatment with arterial hypertension is forgetfulness, and 30% (3/10) reported that the factor What influences the abandonment of treatment with Arterial Hypertension is the level of knowledge, finally 20% (2/10) report that the factor that influences the abandonment of treatment with Arterial Hypertension is due to beliefs.Conclusions:It was evident in the research that 90% (n = 9/10) of the factors that influence abandonment of treatment with Arterial Hypertension are for personal reasons (forgetfulness, level of knowledge, beliefs), 10% ( 1/10) are for reasons of dissatisfaction with the health care service.
