The peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC) is an advance in long-stay intravenous therapy and its use is currently increasing, it is more comfortable for the patient, fewer punctures and complications, its insertion is performed by a Nurse. Objective: To determine the Level of Knowledge of the Nursing professional in the management of the peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC), in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit San Juan Bautista Hospital - Huaral 2021 Methods: The descriptive, quantitative and cross-sectional study. The population and sample will be made up of 12 Nurses specialized in Neonatal Intensive Care, who work in the NICU, in the third quarter of 2021 The instrument: the Likert-type questionnaire with 26 closed questions. data analysis: using tables and graphs, using the Microsoft Excel program.
