Ítem Acceso abierto Work stress and quality of nursing care in the emergency service of the Ate Vitarte 2024 public hospital(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-06-09) Huarcaya Chama, Rosa Martha; Palomino Taquire, RewardsIntroduction: Occupational stress is an issue that affects the performance of nursing staff, which significantly influences the quality of patient care in the emergency service of the public hospital in Ate Vitarte. Objective: To determine the relationship between occupational stress and the quality of nursing care in the emergency service. Methodology: A hypothetical-deductive method with a quantitative and correlational approach will be used for the research, with a cross-sectional design. The population consists of 43 nurses and 132 patients attended in the emergency service of the public hospital in Ate Vitarte. Survey techniques will be used, with instruments including a questionnaire on occupational stress, which consists of 24 items with a Cronbach's Alpha of 0.961, and for nursing care quality, which consists of 26 items with a Cronbach's Alpha of 0.997.
