Methodology: A descriptive, cross-sectional study was conducted, with retrospective data collection. A total of 60,000 patient cases who received contrast media in the Imaging Unit of Clínica Internacional were analyzed. Results: The incidence of adverse reactions related to contrast media was 6–7 per 10,000 cases. Females had the highest incidence, with 33 of 40 cases, most of which were mild in severity. The age group with the highest incidence was 30–39 years, accounting for 14 of 40 cases. Regarding the type of contrast media, 82.5% (33 cases) of adverse reactions were associated with Ioversol, and 17.5% (7 cases) with Gadoterate meglumine. Conclusion: The incidence of adverse reactions related to the use of contrast media at Clínica Internacional is very low, and most reactions are mild in severity.
