Publicación Acceso abierto Nivel de conocimiento y uso del Observatorio de Precios de Productos Farmacéuticos en los pobladores de la Zona III del distrito de Ate, marzo, 2022(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-10-04) Vicuña Bautista, Paola Marilyn; Huatuco Casachagua, Rocio Amanda; Aquino Comun, MeryThe ongoing research had the objective of determining the relationship between the level of knowledge and use of the Pharmaceutical Product Price Observatory (PPPO) among residents of Zone III of the Ate District. Methodology: The method was hypothetical-deductive, with a quantitative approach, and a non-experimental correlational design. The population consisted of residents of Zone III of the Ate district in 2022. The technique was a survey, and the instruments were a structured questionnaire and a CAP (Knowledge, Attitudes, and Practices) questionnaire. Results: The Sociodemographic Characteristics obtained showed that the majority are people aged >36 years, the predominant gender is female, the educational level is secondary, the occupation is homemaker, and the place of birth is the province. Conclusion: The general hypothesis yielded a correlation coefficient of 0.657, which represents a considerable positive correlation. The results of the specific hypotheses were: (1) knowledge and use of the PPPO yielded a coefficient of 0.659, representing a considerable positive correlation. (2) attitudes and use of the PPPO indicated a coefficient of 0.557, representing a considerable positive correlation. (3) practices and use of the PPPO showed a coefficient of 0.530, representing a considerable positive correlation. (4) barriers and knowledge level yielded a coefficient of 0.691, indicating a considerable positive correlation. (5) accessibility and knowledge level indicated a coefficient of 0.537, representing a considerable positive correlation. (6) training and knowledge level yielded a coefficient of 0.673, indicating a considerable positive correlation.
