    Obstetric and perinatal complications of pregnant women diagnosed with COVID-19

    This research aims to determine the scientific evidence on obstetric and perinatal complications of pregnant women diagnosed with Covid-19. The study design was a quantitative systematic review. In the field of study, a thorough review of the scientific articles published in scientific journals such as Pubmed, Google Academic and Scielo was carried out. The study subjects were considered 34 articles published in the period from 2019 to 2021. The results were 88% of the systematic review type studies reviewed. The main obstetric complications of pregnant women with Covid19 were 39% of the studies reported Preterm delivery, 16% Preeclampsia and 13% maternal deaths. Perinatal complications were prematurity reported in 36% of the studies followed by perinatal death with 28%. The conclusions of the study were that there is scientific evidence at the national and international level on obstetric and perinatal complications of pregnant women diagnosed with Covid-19.
