    Hospital healthcare personnel are exposed to various hazards, making biosafety crucial. The main objective was to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and attitudes regarding biosafety measures among medical residents at a national hospital in 2024. The study employed a hypothetical-deductive, quantitative, applied, non-experimental, and descriptive-correlational approach. The sample consisted of 80 resident physicians, selected based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. A non-probabilistic sampling model was used, with surveys as the data collection technique and questionnaires as the instruments for assessing knowledge and attitudes regarding biosafety measures. The instruments were validated by five expert reviewers, and Cronbach's alpha was used to determine reliability. SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) version 26 was also used. Based on the results obtained through Spearman's rho coefficient (0.431: p < 0.05), a direct, positive correlation was found. And moderate, reaffirming the moderate relationship between the level of knowledge and attitudes; furthermore, similar results were obtained in the analysis of the remaining specific hypotheses (p<0.05). It is concluded that the level of knowledge is significantly related to attitudes regarding biosafety measures.
