    Dependency of the hemodialyzed elderly patient and primary caregiver overload in the national hospital, Lima 2022

    Caring for dependent older adults with hemodialysis establishes a difficult task for those who carry out this activity, since the consequences can complicate their level of well-being, and even their level of health. Objective: Determine the relationship between the dependency of the elderly hemodialysis patient and the overload of the main caregiver at the National Hospital, Lima -2022. Methods: The methodology is applied, has a non-experimental, correlational and transectional design, has a quantitative approach and is hypothetical-deductive. The population and sample will be made up of 80 in total, 40 main caregivers of older adults with hemodialysis and 40 patients on hemodialysis. The data collected will be processed with the Spearman correlation coefficient and will be presented for discussion in order to establish improvement actions aimed at guaranteeing quality service to the user.
