Publicación Acceso abierto Factores asociados a reacciones adversas de anticonceptivos hormonales en usuarias del Centro de Salud Materno Infantil Pachacútec Perú – Corea, Callao 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-08-31) Hurtado Chauca, Jannet; Taype Huamani, Edith Victoria; Mendoza Barrios, Jesús RichardThe objective of this research was to analyze the factors associated with adverse reactions to hormonal contraceptives in users of the Pachacútec Peru-Korea Maternal and Child Health Center, Callao, 2023. Methodology: A correlational study was conducted. Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS V25. Results were presented in frequency tables, and the Chi-square and Cramer's V tests were used to rule out hypotheses. Results: 156 users aged 18 to 50 were studied. It was found that 48.7% of women using medroxyprogesterone experienced adverse metabolic reactions, while 25.0% of those using etonogestrel experienced adverse reproductive reactions. Users using concomitant medications experienced fewer adverse metabolic reactions (56%)." In comorbidities, a significant relationship was found at the level of the gastrointestinal system (42.7%), compared to those without such comorbidities (23.5%). The Cramer's V coefficient indicates a weak relationship (Cramer's V = 0.205). No association was found with harmful habits. Conclusion: A weak association was found with hormonal contraceptive characteristics, concomitant medications, and comorbidities, but not with harmful habits.
