This thesis explored teacher training in pedagogical technological tools to improve educational quality and reduce the educational gap. The general objective was to determine the influence of the use of pedagogical technological tools on the improvement of digital skills in teachers. The methodology of the study was applied, with a quantitative approach and an experimental design. The control group consisted of 31 teachers belonging to an educational consortium in Metropolitan Lima in 2023. A technical sheet was used to collect data, which included a pre-test and a post-test after a 12-session training. The results, processed with SPSS V26, revealed significant improvements in teachers' digital skills. In the pretest, 58.10% were in the medium grade, while, in the post-test, 80% reached this grade, and the high grade increased from 0% to 9.70%. To evaluate the significance of these results, the Wilcoxon T test was applied, which yielded a Z value of -4.878 and an asymptotic significance of < 0.001. This led to rejecting the null hypothesis and accepting the alternative hypothesis, demonstrating that the use of pedagogical technological tools significantly influences the improvement of teachers' digital skills. These findings highlight the importance of educational technology training and its positive impact on teachers' digital competencies, which ultimately contributes to increased educational quality.
