Publicación Acceso abierto Factores asociados con el agotamiento laboral en un servicio de farmacia hospitalaria, de un hospital de Lima Este, Lima - 2025(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2025-12-16) Carrasco Mayta, Gesner Briel; Irigoin Saldaña, Marly Emilia; Ñañez del Pino, DanielThis research aimed to identify the specific elements linked to occupational burnout within a hospital pharmacy setting in East Lima, Lima 2025. The methodological strategy employed is part of a hypothetical framework with a quantitative bias; it presents an unmanipulated, cross-sectional correlational design. The group considered consisted of 90 workers assigned to the pharmacy department of the Lima Este Vitarte Hospital, with a sample of 74 people of equal importance. Data acquisition involved two distinct scales: a 15-item tool focused on associated factors and a 22-item instrument designed to evaluate burnout levels. The statistical analysis revealed that only age (p=0.028), with a weak and negative relationship (Rho = -0.256), and the duration of daily shifts (p = 0.033, Rho=0.249), displayed a significant correlation with occupational exhaustion. Notably, age showed a weak inverse relationship, while working hours presented a weak positive one. Consequently, the findings indicate that pharmacy personnel undergo moderate emotional strain, with 66.2% and 33.8% reporting medium and low levels, respectively, and an absence of high-tier cases. Additionally, a robust sense of personal achievement appears to mitigate the syndrome impact, notwithstanding the presence of moderate fatigue.
