Publicación Acceso abierto Influencia de la intervención educativa sobre el nivel de conocimiento en la prevención del COVID-19 en madres de un comedor en el distrito de Santa Rosa – noviembre 2021(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-11-25) Yauri Angeles, Jennifer Lizbeth; Jacinto Aguirre, Ruth Mary; Villanueva Vílchez, Hugo GilbertoObjective: To assess the influence of educational intervention on the level of knowledge about COVID-19 prevention among mothers from a community kitchen in the district of Santa Rosa. The study used a deductive method with a quantitative, observational approach. The research was applied in nature, with a sample of 128 participants and probabilistic sampling. The technique used for data collection was a survey, and the instrument was a questionnaire. Results: The PRE-TEST demonstrated that 64% had a poor level of knowledge, 26.6% had a regular level, and 6% had a good level. Following the educational intervention (POST-TEST), the levels improved, with 18.8% achieving an excellent level, 57.8% a good level, and a decrease in the regular level to 7.2% and the poor level to 6.3%. Additionally, the knowledge improvement index among participants increased from 9.85 to 15.23, indicating that the educational intervention was effective. Conclusion: The educational intervention positively influences participants' level of knowledge.
