Ítem Acceso abierto Emotional intelligence and assertiveness towards sexuality in young people who are treated at a health center in the district of Cieneguilla, Lima – 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-03-01) Carbajal Avila, Gretta Mirella; Jacobi Romero, Dante JesusThis study aimed to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence and assertiveness toward sexuality. The study was conducted with a sample of 132 young people aged 18 to 25, who were in the waiting room of a health center in the district of Cieneguilla. The study had a basic, quantitative, correlational approach with a non-experimental design. The Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire (TMMS-24) adapted in Lima by Huamán (2020) and the Assertiveness toward Sexuality Scale (SAS) adapted in Lima by Contreras (2018) were used for data collection. Statistical testing with Pearson's r resulted in a statistical degree of 0.417 (p > 0.005). The conclusion was that no relationship exists between the variables of emotional intelligence and assertiveness toward sexuality. Thus, this study, along with similar research, suggests that there is no relationship between having emotional control and making decisions regarding initiating, rejecting, or using contraceptive methods during sexual activity.Ítem Acceso abierto Family functioning and academic achievement in 5th grade secondary school students in two state educational institutions, Huanta – 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-04-29) Gutierrez Valenzuela, Solansh Pamela; Jacobi Romero, Dante JesusThe objective of the research was to determine the relationship between family functioning and academic achievement in 5th-grade secondary students from two public educational institutions in Huanta, Ayacucho. (2016), and the students' grade records. The results showed no significant correlation between family functioning and academic achievement (rho = 0.09; p > 0.17). Therefore, it was concluded that there is no direct relationship between family functioning and academic performance in these students.Ítem Acceso abierto Spiritual well-being and psychological well-being in people, who lost or not, a family member due to covid19(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-03-13) Rojas Ccente, Sandra; Jacobi Romero, Dante JesusThe purpose of this study is to determine whether there is a significant correlation between spiritual well-being and psychological well-being among individuals who have lost a family member to COVID-19 in the district of Ate Vitarte.
