    Quality of nursing care and satisfaction of patients who attend a national hospital, Lima 2023

    The quality of nursing care refers to the provision of health services to maintain the wellbeing of individuals, promote health and ensure their satisfaction, which has been affected in recent decades by high patient demand, inadequate policies, reduced rest hours for professionals, among other causes. Objective: To determine how the quality of nursing care is related to the satisfaction of patients attending a national hospital, Lima 2023. Methodology: Applied study using the hypothetical-deductive, non-experimental, correlational and cross-sectional method on 70 patients, using two questionnaires as data collection instruments. Results: The quality of nursing care was rated as fair in 45.7% of the respondents, followed by good in 30% and poor in 24.3%. Regarding the second study variable, 50% affirmed medium levels of satisfaction, followed by 30% with low levels and, finally, 20% with high levels. Conclusion: The quality of nursing care is significantly related to the satisfaction of patients attending the national hospital center.
