The applied method was the hypothetical deductive method with quantitative approach of applied type with descriptive correlational level with non-experimental, cross-sectional design. A questionnaire adapted from the Hospital Survey on Patient Safety Culture (HSOPS) of the Agency for Health Research and Quality (AHRQ) was used, consisting of 54 items with 6 dimensions, each dimension validated with the Cronbach alpha. The sample consisted of graduate health professionals. In the statistical analysis, Spearman's Rho coefficient was used, which showed a significant correspondence between the variable’s education in patient safety culture and the evaluation of quality in the provision of services, as well as their dimensions. In this research it was concluded that the more the learning outcome of the professionals is evidenced, as well as the teamwork and communication, the better the quality of the service provided in a surgical center of a national hospital in Lima.
