Publicación Acceso abierto Calidad del sueño y habilidades metacognitivas en estudiantes de Segunda Especialidad de una universidad de Lima, 2022(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-08-13) Jara Soto, Percy Joel; Ramos Vera, Rosario PilarThe quality of sleep has been widely studied in recent years, as well as how it affects the learning and development of activities in people; For this reason, the study presented as its objective "Determine the relationship between sleep quality and metacognitive skills in students of the Second specialty in Cardiorespiratory Therapy of a university in Lima, 2022", for this purpose the study was developed under the quantitative approach and non-experimental design, with a correlational scope; the sample consisted of 80 students of Second specialty; As instruments, questionnaires were applied, through the survey, the first to assess the quality of sleep of the participants, the Carrillo questionnaire (2021), with 22 items with three dimensions and which was adapted from the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index by Buysse et al. to the. (1989), the second to assess metacognitive skills was a questionnaire by Huertas et al. (2014), with 52 items and two dimensions, both instruments after validation by expert judgment were considered applicable, in the same way the reliability was by Cronbach's Alpha of 0.878 for Sleep quality and 0.952 for Metacognitive skills, the data collected were processed and analyzed in SPSS v 25 and as a result it was obtained that there is a significant and positive relationship between the two referred variables, concluding that sleep quality is linked to metacognitive skills in second specialty students with a Pearson r of 0.196 and a significance value of 0.001.
