Materials and Methods: The research design is non-experimental, descriptive-correlational, cross-sectional, and observational in nature, as situations that already existed and were not induced by the research were observed. The sample consisted of 80 elderly individuals from a private entity, 48 of whom were female and 32 were male, who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The technique used was a test. The instrument used was a questionnaire with 34 items, a Likert scale with 5 response options, scoring between 1 and 5. The analysis of the items shows a high average reliability, as indicated by the Cronbach's alpha coefficient (0.9178). Results: Regarding the levels of loneliness in the elderly, 6% responded "never," 25% "rarely," 31% "sometimes," 34% "often," and 4% "always." Regarding the marital family dimension, 4% responded "never," 21% "rarely," 37% "sometimes," 25% "often," and 13% "always." Regarding the loneliness feeling dimension, 9% responded "never," 29% "rarely," 29% "sometimes," 27% "often," and 6% "always." Conclusions: Elderly individuals attending a senior citizen workshop at a private entity in the district of Rímac often experience a high level of loneliness, and occasionally and rarely, a moderate level of loneliness.
