Publicación Acceso abierto Cumplimiento de las buenas prácticas de prescripción del programa de atención ambulatoria de la Clínica Maison de Santé, mayo–julio 2016(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2017) Bazán Alfaro, Sandra Roxana; Jimenez Gonzales, Yovanna Flor; Herencia Torres, Victor ReynaldoThe objective of this work was to determine the percentage of compliance with Good Prescribing Practices (GPP) for the Outpatient Care Program at the Clínica Maison de Sante during May–July 2016. The study was cross-sectional, observational, and retrospective, analyzing unit prescriptions for patients with chronic treatments. The Manual of Good Prescribing Practices from the General Directorate of Medicines, Supplies, and Drugs (DIGEMID), the WHO Manual of Good Prescribing Practices (OMS), and the Medication Appropriateness Index (MAI) were used to create our data collection form, taking the required prescription characteristics as reference points to measure the magnitude of inadequate prescribing in a sample of 400 prescriptions (which constituted our universe). Data was collected from the Clínica Maison de Sante archives for two intercalated hours daily for 28 consecutive days (2 weeks) in September. Results showed that 100% complied with the Manual of Good Prescribing Practices. However, 90.5% of the prescriptions did not contain complete data, 5.5% omitted the pharmaceutical form, 22% omitted the active ingredient concentration, 2.5% omitted the dose and pharmaceutical form, and 93.5% presented illegible handwriting.
