Ítem Acceso abierto Family environment and its relationship with the development of the language area in 3-year-old children from the AA.HH San Fernando, Surquillo 2018(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2018-10-02) Juarez Diaz, Maria Graciela; Ordoñez Oré, Danny Fredy; Bonilla Asalde, César AntonioIn this research, the objective is to determine the relationship between the family environment and the language development of 3-year-old children from the AAHH San Fernando, Surquillo, April – July 2018. Materials and methods: The study conducted is quantitative in approach, descriptive correlational in type, and cross-sectional in design. The population consisted of 44 families, and the instruments used were the HOME inventory and the TEPSI test. Results: It was found that the family environment of the study population is predominantly inadequate, with 38.64% of families, where 31.82% of their children show delays in language development and 43.18% are at risk. Furthermore, 34.09% of families had an adequate environment, with 25% of their children showing normal language development and 9% at risk. Lastly, in the moderate family environment, 27.27% of families had children with 23% at risk and 5% with delays. The results and the hypothesis approval were obtained through the Chi-square statistical test, where the P value is 0.000.Ítem Acceso abierto Knowledge about cardiopulmonary resuscitation and practice in students of the second specialty of emergency and disasters of the Private University Norbert Wiener, 2022(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-02-26) Juarez Diaz, Maria Graciela; Cárdenas de Fernández, María HildaIntroduction: In 2017, the WHO published that heart problems and cerebrovascular accidents (AVC) are acute anomalies caused by obstruction that makes it impossible to irrigate the heart or brain. It is an etiology of mortality at a universal and annual level. Thus, in 2015, some 17.7 million people died as a result of this cause, which represents 31% of deaths registered worldwide. Of this group, 7.4 million occurred due to coronary heart disease, and 6.7 million due to stroke. Also, more than 75% of CVD deaths occur in low- and middle-income countries. Objective: To determine the relationship between knowledge and practices on cardiopulmonary resuscitation among students of the second specialty of emergency and disaster at UPNW, 2022. Methods: The research will have a quantitative approach, descriptive level, correlational-observational design. The population to investigate will be all the students of the second specialty of emergency and disaster of the UPNW.
