As time passes, the COVID-19 pandemic continues to affect lifestyles, triggering non-communicable diseases that harm the health of adults and older adults. The methodology used in this study was an applied type with a correlational level. The sample consisted of 180 workers from the Tablada de Lurín markets. A questionnaire composed of 25 items was used, which was validated by expert judgment. The results showed unhealthy behaviors in overweight workers at 54.3%. Regarding consumption patterns, there was a greater tendency toward unhealthy behaviors in overweight workers at 39.4%, and for physical activity level, the tendency toward unhealthy behaviors in overweight workers was 40%. In conclusion, a statistically significant association exists between Body Mass Index (BMI) and lifestyles in workers of the Tablada de Lurín markets during the pandemic in Lima, 2021.
