Intervención educativa farmacéutica sobre el uso racional de anticonceptivos en alumnos de 5to de secundaria de la institución educativa 1226 Sol de Vitarte del distrito Ate - Vitarte – 2023

A considerable percentage of adolescents in the world lack adequate sexual education, and only a minimal percentage uses contraceptive methods correctly. Given the reason, the objective is: To determine if the application of a pharmaceutical educational intervention improves the rational use of contraceptives in 5th grade secondary school students of the educational institution 1226 Sol de Vitarte of the Ate - Vitarte district - 2023. Methodology: hypothetical-deductive method, quantitative approach, type applied, pre-experimental design, longitudinal section and explanatory level, survey technique and questionnaire-type instrument applied to 100 students. Results: 52% corresponded to 16-year-old students, the predominant sex was female with 51%. Furthermore, it was identified that before the pharmaceutical educational intervention, the level of contraceptive use was poor at 58.0%; unlike the 81.0% excellent which was obtained after the intervention. Conclusion: It was determined that the application of a pharmaceutical educational intervention improved the rational use of contraceptives in 5th year high school students of the educational institution 1226 Sol de Vitarte of the Ate - Vitarte district - 2023. In addition, a value of p <0.05 was observed. between pre-intervention and post-intervention.
